On March 1, 1976 I began my career in the insurance business. From the beginning it has been my goal to be a trustworthy advisor to my clients. And to serve them well in the disciplines of insurance, employee benefits, financial, retirement, estate and business planning.
In order to achieve my goal I have invested heavily in both time and resources to obtain the knowledge I felt necessary. Additionally, I spend a great deal of time in Continuing Education (CE) courses. Each of the Degrees, Designations and Fellowships described below were worked for and earned so as to make me a better advisor.
MSFS: The Masters of Science in Financial Services (MSFS) offers the highest level of professional education for financial services practioners. It is a master degree that is granted to those students who sucessfully complete a wide ranging course of studies covering the disciplines involved in the art of financial planning.
CLU®: The Chartered Life Underwritter (CLU®) program is the nation’s foremost professional designation for individuals in the field of life insurance sales, services and management.
ChFC®: The Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®) program provides financial service professionals with the broad knowledge and skills necesary to provide comprehensive financial planning services to their clients.
LUTCF: The Life Underwriter Training Council Fellowship designation is confered only upon those professionals who meet the exacting standards as determined by the two professional organizations which sponsor the LUTCF. The National Association of Life Underwriters and the Life Underwriter Training Council.
CFS: The Certified Fund Specialist (CFS) designation is awarded to those individuals who sucessfully study for and pass a rigorous in depth education on investing in and the use of Mutual Funds in a financial plan.
BCM: The Board Certified Mutual Funds (BCM) designation is awarded to individuals who have passed the CFS certification program then write a comprehensive set of various case study reviews concerning individuals and their investment needs. The thesis and research are then critically reviewd by a board of experts in the Mutual Fund field.
CAS: The Certified Annuity Specialist (CAS) designation is awarded to those individuals who study for and sucessfully pass a rigorous in depth education on the use of annuities in financial planning.
BCA: The Board Certified Annuity Specialist (BCA) designation is awarded to individuals who have passed the BCA certification program then write a comprehensive set of various case study reviews concerning individuals and their investment needs. The thesis and research are then critically reviewd by a board of experts in the field of Annuities.
